TOUR PRICE
The tour price is per person, based on double occupancy in hotel rooms.  Single rooms are subject to availability with an additional charge. (If a participant cannot supply a roommate and Adventure Bible Tours is unable to do so, or the roommate cancels before departure, the participant will have to pay the supplemental charge. Participants may be billed after the final payment due date for single room accommodations as necessary.)

Prices are based on costs, operational charges, tariffs, rate of exchange, prices, taxes, levies, rates, and other considerations. These costs are subject to change, and such increases in price will be added to the participant's final billing. Adventure Bible Tours reserves the right to vary itineraries, prices, and to substitute facilities and/or hotels of equal or better quality if necessary.

 

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT
When booking your reservation, a partial non-refundable deposit is required for each person. Reservations, deposits, and final payments are due no later than 85 days before departure (unless otherwise specified on itinerary). Due dates may vary depending on the tour.

 

PAYMENTS

Payments can be made online by using our booking manager platform, OR sent by mail with a check, cashier's check, or money order. Online payments can be made by Credit Card (incl. service fee) OR eCheck (US Checking Account) (no service fee). Mailed payments can be sent to:

Payments not received on time can result in reservation cancellation without refund.

 

INCLUDED
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and include: Round trip airfare (if purchased through ABT with specified air-inclusive packages), air taxes, and fuel charges; hotels; English-speaking guide; air-conditioned deluxe motor coach or other forms of transportation as specified on itinerary; all guides, entrances, touring, and transportation as appears on the itinerary; baggage handling at hotels (one piece); tips to driver, all guides, hotel staff, and restaurant staff only included if specified on the itinerary. Meals and special meals are included as specified in the itinerary.

NOT INCLUDED
Tour prices do not include airfare and related taxes when purchasing specified land-only packages. Lunches not on the itinerary, travel insurance, passport cost, visa cost, laundry service, food and beverages (including coffee and tea) not usually included with regular meals, souvenirs, airline excess luggage charges, and other optional incidental extras are not included. This list is illustrative and not a complete list of every item not included.

 

AIRFARE, TAXES, AND FEES
Airline flights are economy class (if purchased through ABT) unless otherwise specified on itinerary.  Various taxes, fuel charges, and airport fees are included in the air ticket expense. Such fees may be subject to increase by governments and/or airlines and will be the responsibility of the individual participant at any time. Baggage weight, size restrictions, and fees may change and are the responsibility of the individual participant.

Adventure Bible Tours will arrange for the best-priced airfare available at the time of booking. Participants wishing to cancel and or change their air reservation may be subject to cancellation penalties.  ABT does not have the ability to assign seating for flights. Seat assignments will be done at the airport check-in. All taxes, fuel charges, and security fees are subject to change based on the ticketing date.

Airfares quoted by Adventure Bible Tours are group fares (unless otherwise specified on itinerary) and cannot be combined with other promotional offers. Airlines involved in tours are not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time participants are not on board their planes or conveyances. Adventure Bible Tours is not responsible for unforeseen flight delays, charges due to changes required during political unrest, or schedule changes imposed by the airlines.  Air schedules may be subject to change at the discretion of the airlines. Upgrades and associated costs are the sole responsibility of the participant after ticketing.

It is the participant’s responsibility to provide valid identification in the form of a passport or other required identification at the time of airport check-in.

If you choose to purchase a land-only package and arrange your own domestic and international flight independently, Adventure Bible Tours will not be responsible for domestic, international flights or transfers of any kind. Adventure Bible Tours is not responsible for any international flight schedule changes. If domestic tickets are purchased by a participant, all penalties and fare differences will be paid by the client. ‘Land Only’ participants are not guaranteed airport meetings and assistance, including transfers to and from the airport.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation in writing must be received by Adventure Bible Tours prior to departure for an appropriate refund of the tour cost, minus the following fees (per person):

91+ Days Prior: $100 processing fee
90-75 Days Prior: Full deposit amount lost
74-64 Days Prior: 50% of tour cost lost
63-55 Days Prior: 75% of tour cost lost
54-45 Days Prior: 100% of tour cost lost

(Airline penalties are not part of the percentages above and vary based on each individual airline policy.)

Cancellation of tour funds are non-transferable. Once registered, participants may not transfer their tour booking to another individual.

​

Group Organizers and ABT retain the privilege to cancel or reschedule any departure for any cause (including minimum group size not being met). In the event of cancellation, with the exception of extreme circumstances outlined below, we may, at our sole discretion, present alternative arrangements, provide travel vouchers, or reimbursements in compliance with our cancellation policy as described above. Any supplementary expenses for airfare or other travel arrangements not arranged by us are your responsibility.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & PARTICIPATION
Participants are required to be in good health, able to climb stairs and ascending grades without assistance; walk up to 3-plus miles daily at a moderate pace on uneven terrain, and able to transport their own luggage.  Adventure Bible Tours cannot accept any participants that have physical or mobility limitations, as tour itineraries require full mobility.

The tour leader has the right to require non-mobile persons to stay behind when deemed necessary while on tour. The tour leader has the right to terminate the tour membership of any participant displaying behavior that is detrimental to individuals on the tour or interfering with the operations of the tours.  Private group tours vary regarding mobility standards.

 

PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS
All international tours require a current passport. Passports must be valid for up to six months after your return date, as required by law. Passport cards or photocopies of passports are not acceptable forms of identification. Names and passport information on registration must appear exactly as shown on the participant’s passport. Non-U.S. citizens are responsible to fulfill the appropriate entry requirements of the destination countries. Contact the local consulate of the country or countries you intend to visit for information.

 

CHILDREN
Minors traveling with either one parent or no parents must have a certified letter of permission from the parent or parents who is/are not traveling. This letter must be presented at airport check-in.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is not required, but highly encouraged. Adventure Bible Tours is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident, and/or illness. It is the responsibility of the traveler to be insured and to choose an insurance provider. Adventure Bible Tours is not responsible if you cancel your tour without insurance; and is subject to our cancellation policy as described above. No refund will come from Adventure Bible Tours concerning any purchased insurance. ABT may receive a commission for introducing you to a travel insurance provider. Travel Guard Travel Insurance is the recommended provider of Adventure Bible Tours.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO ON TOUR

From time to time, Adventure Bible Tours may utilize images or videos captured during the tour by fellow travelers, your Adventure Bible Tours guide, or professional photographers for use in promotional purposes, print, online, or other mediums. Should you wish to refrain from having your likeness featured in any marketing activities, please inform Adventure Bible Tours or your Group Organizer at the start of your tour.

 

RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
Adventure Bible Tours and the participating tour operators, operate the land tours offered under this program only as agents of the railroads, car rental contractors, steamship lines, hotels, bus operators, sightseeing contractors, and others which provide the actual land arrangements and are not liable for any act, omission, delay, injury, loss or damage or nonperformance occurring in connection with these land arrangements. International or domestic air carriers and other IATA carriers, steamship lines or other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time participants are not on board their conveyance.

The participant's contract in use by these companies when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or participants. The tour operator reserves the right to change the itinerary, delete or substitute sites when the tour operator feels it to be in the best interest of the tour.

Adventure Bible Tours does not provide additional assistance to any participants that have physical or mobility limitations, as tour itineraries require full mobility. Adventure Bible Tours is not responsible for any losses or damages of personal property, injuries, thefts, or unforeseen expenses incurred by any tour member.
 

EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES

Adventure Bible Tours disclaims any responsibility for, and shall not be held liable for, any loss, harm, delay, or cancellation resulting, either wholly or partially, from an Act of God or any other Force Majeure circumstance, including but not limited to: natural disasters such as fire, volcanic activity, environmental contamination, adverse weather conditions, seismic events, fluctuating water levels, flooding, water or power supply interruptions, tropical storms or hurricanes, civil unrest, riots, or disturbances, and any other occurrences of a similar nature, sabotage, arrests, labor disputes, governmental actions, acts of terrorism, war, insurrection, quarantine measures, health advisories, epidemics, pandemics, governmental warnings or alerts of any kind, governmental seizures, refusal, suspension, or delay of governmental permits or authorizations, damages to Adventure Bible Tours' or its suppliers' facilities, or any other unforeseeable circumstances or factors beyond Adventure Bible Tours' control that adversely affect its ability to fulfill its contractual obligations. If any of these circumstances arise, Adventure Bible Tours shall be excused, discharged, and released from performance to the extent that such performance is limited or prevented, without incurring any liability, of any kind, including the liability to issue a refund. However, in the event of a Force Majeure event, Adventure Bible Tours reserves the right to provide you with a credit applicable towards a future ABT tour instead or a monetary refund, excluding any amounts that we have paid or have contractually committed to pay to third-party vendors for the provision of your travel arrangements, which we cannot reasonably be reclaimed (such as payments made or due to airlines and hotels).

 

MODIFICATIONS TO TOUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Adventure Bible Tours reserves the right to rectify any errors or omissions in its published materials and to modify these Travel Terms and Conditions at any time due to material changes in legislation or regulations. All amended Travel Terms and Conditions will become effective automatically upon being posted by Adventure Bible Tours to the website AdventureBibleTours.com. Therefore, guests are encouraged to check the AdventureBibleTours.com website before their travels to ensure they are aware of any changes.
